Day 1
Institutions & HNIsInvestment Limit:₹2 Lakhs and aboveDay 2
Retail InvestorsInvestment Limit:Up to ₹2 Lakhs100% Margin Required – Investors must keep full payment/margin (cash or cash-equivalent) in their trading account while placing a bid
Single PAN Limit – Bids across all brokers under one PAN must not exceed ₹2L for retail category
How Allocation Happens
Day 1 (T Day):
- Bids are collected from institutions/HNIs
- Exchange finalizes a cut-off price
Day 2 (T+1 Day):
- Retail investors must bid at or above the cut-off
- Bids below the cut-off are rejected
Floor Price = ₹100
High institutional demand → Cut-off = ₹112
Retail investors must place bids ≥ ₹112 for valid participation
